My meditation oil. It's very deep. Intuitive Insight is a blend of oils renowned for encouraging inner vision and intuitive wisdom. Based on the transcendent effect of Sandalwood, the fragrant queen of tranquillity, it is designed to aid meditation, contemplation and all activity of the ‘Higher Mind’.
The third eye is called Ajna in Sanskrit and means perceiving. This chakra represents clear thought, contemplation and self-reflection. It also represents our ability to focus on and see the big picture.
Key oils: Sandalwood ~ Frankincense ~ Lemon
How to Use:
Pop a couple of drops in a burner, sola wood flower or candle near you and breathe it in, close your eyes, slow your breathing and let it help you go deep. There are loads of third eye meditations here.
More info
Frankincense is a deeply spiritual oil. It can help to slow down and deepen the breathing, and is often used during meditation and prayer to focus and still the mind, ideal for people who cannot 'switch off' or for chronic worriers. It is most often used for grief and depression, having remarkable effects on people who have been in depressive states for a long period of time.
Sandalwood is often used in meditation to quieten and calm the mind. This is the more sustainable Australian sandalwood. Avoid the so-called West Indian Sandalwood or Amyris as they are a poor substitute and bear no botanical relation to the East Indian type.
Lemon is used here to brighten the deep oils. It has a reviving and stimulating effect and is useful for treating stress-related fatigue and depression. It also helps to clear the mind, and boosts clarity of thought and memory.
