A brilliant blend to help balance female hormones. Pain-relieving, calming and comforting. It can be used for menstrual and menopausal issues.
Cypress, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Lavender & Geranium
How to use
I think this one is best massaged into your abdomen area or on the soles of your feet, so pop some lotion or oil into the palm of your hand, add one or two drops, mix it about a bit and massage in. I have been known to put one drop in my belly button for pain which works great, but be careful it doesn't irritate your skin. If it ever does, just apply some neat oil and it will dissolve. Alternatively, just inhale it from the bottle, or pop a drop on a sola wood flower near you. Or, add 5-6 drops into a bath oil for your bath and breathe it in. It has bergamot in which can irritate, so it's best diluted in an oil, body lotion, cream or something.

Cypress is excellent for treating fluid retention and regulating heavy and painful periods. It can help hot flushes and sweating. Cypress is a good oil to choose during times of upheaval as it helps to restore calm. It is a valuable to oil to use during times of upheaval, painful change or bereavement as it can help the flow of stagnant energy and encourage a more focussed approach to problems.
Bergamot: Uplifting, anti-depressant, self empowering, supports confidence, aids in self expression. Known as "Nature's Prozac" it is one of the most popular aromatherapy oils for easing anxiety, stress, depression, nervous tension, over-emotional feelings, and physical and mental agitation. It is also helpful when stress or pressure affects the stomach and digestion. It's also one of the best antiseptic aromatherapy oils for treating cystitis and urinary tract infections.
Clary Sage: Very relaxing, encourages sleep. Eases panic and nervous tension. A useful tonic for the female reproductive system as it can help ease premenstrual tension and cramps. Said to aid sleep and facilitate lucid dreaming. Clary Sage has an oestrogenic action that is particularly useful for calming hot flushes and night sweats in menopause. It has an antidepressant, euphoric effect that can lift depression and boost the mood. It can also help to promote more restful sleep.
Lavender: Has painkilling and anti-inflammatory properties that can help aching, muscle and joint pain, headaches, migraines and stomach cramps. Can also work as sedative, helps stress levels, tension and sleep.
Geranium is one of my absolute favourite oils and it happens to be fab for balancing hormones, yay. Helps to balance mood swings, is great for skin that's gone oilier or drier with hormone change. Supports the endocrine system and helps to balance the effects of our hormones. Useful in aiding elimination and dispelling fluid retention and congestion. Excellent in skin care for combination and mature skin types.
